Grant Chandler CFP®, CIA®, BFA™

Director of Portfolio Management

Grant has worked in a broad range of capacities within the financial services industry, including marketing, compliance, and portfolio management. He completed the requirements to become a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and has more than 20 years of experience in the industry.

Grant has a degree from Georgia State University where he studied Business and Finance.  He also completed the requirements of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) to become a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).  The IIA is an international professional association which is a leader in standards, certification, education, research, and technical guidance throughout the world.

To supplement his experience and background, and because of his interest in maximizing the effectiveness of financial decisions, he began to study behavioral finance.  His belief is that the technical knowledge is fundamental to success, but beliefs and values are the ultimate drivers of investment decisions.  This led him to earn his Behavioral Financial Advisor (BFA) designation.

Grant’s professional affiliations include the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA).

He and his wife Emily live in Braselton with their daughter. When not working, he enjoys reading, biking, hiking, and golf.
